GTK: Mizwar and the Skull Spirit!

 Hello peeps!

Just recently, we all got to know about Pentas.io, which is the hottest topic in the Malaysian NFT market. But what about the creators?

Right, now let's talk about the creators! (#CreatorsLifeMatters) 😆

I just wanted to appreciate and share the creators that I think have the potential to grow on Pentas.io sooner or later. So without further ado, I present you this week selected creator..

*Drumrolls!*

*Spotlight*

Ladies and Pentasians!

Meet this week selected creator, @Mizwardrawing!

  The artist!                                              The artwork!

Wow! That looks soo dark Bro!
By the way, is that's a blood-drinking beast GOAT?! (the right one, obviously la)
Awh-semm dude!

Steady guys, it won't bite,
and I'm sure the ritual's over.
Or is it...

Anywho, let's begin! 😈

So, whooo are you?
Hi, I'm Mizwar, and I am obsessed with darkness. (the Art ofcourse!)

Also, who's or what's your source of inspiration?

Billelis! It's gotta be Billelis! I really admire everything that he was making, which was mostly based on his personal beliefs on death, religion, and patterns, among other things. He really aspires me to create artworks.

Aha, okay, now what's your theme on Pentas.io?

More on 3D art that shows some of the more culture and heritage features to Dark and Death. But, I think I just wanted to create something that is akin to our culture (such as traditional warriors and clothes) with a Lil bit of twist of dark elements. Most importantly, I just wanted to create something that I'm proud to share with the rest of the world.

Well, that's great to hear!

Dude's not playing.
They look super lit!

Is there any story or meaning behind your artwork?
It does! I'll tell you the story behind Tengkolok Spirit Limited Edition. In this artwork, I use a skull with a headdress, also known as a Tengkolok, to illustrate a story about the warrior spirits in the Malay world. Even though they died centuries ago, but their spirit will never fade. A gleaming circle symbolises our cultural unity(bersekutu bertambah mutu). The dark red colour was choose to represents the blood and passion of the fighting spirit. I implement the Kain Songket as the backdrop as a heritage of the original Malay Archipelago.

Can you share the process? How long does it take to finish an artwork?
Sure! The process took about 1-2 weeks depends on the artwork. (including rest day!)
First off, one of the important things for me is to sketch! Pour all of your ideas on the paper. I think this is the best time to explore the concept and style!

Next is to sculpt your model. I sculpted on Z Brush and experimented and proceeded with the texture using Substance Painter. The final step is to retouch and edit it on Adobe Photoshop, and that's it.

Final Artwork on Pentas.io

Pheww!
Mind-blowing work dude. There's so much dedication and passion to making it. I believe anyone who buys or collect your artwork should and would feel proud for having it. Soo worth it!

Now, let's continue,
Here's the final question from me,

How did you find the Pentas.io experience?
That's a great question! I think Pentas.io is a great place to share and sell your artwork. I really love their concept to preserve the identity of our culture and heritage digital art through NFT.

Aha, I agree with you. I think we all feel like that too.
Well, that's all from me now! Thanks, Mizwar, and keep on the great job!

Also, there you have it, guys! This week selected creator!

I hope you enjoy it, and thank you for reading!

Take care & stay safe everyone!
